Can you hold certain dates for me?
At House, we appreciate the intricacies of planning a vacation. However, we do not hold dates without a paid deposit due to the high interest in our properties and to ensure fairness for all potential guests.
Once you are ready to proceed with your booking and make a deposit, we are more than happy to secure your desired dates. How much is a deposit to hold my dates?
The deposit policy at House varies based on how far in advance you make your reservation. If your reservation is more than 60 days out from the start of your rental period, a 25% deposit is required to secure your dates. However, if your reservation is within 60 days of the start of your rental period, the entire balance is due at booking.

Can I have an early check-in or late check-out?
Peak-Season
Peak season varies for each destination within the House portfolio. During peak season, we are unable to offer an early check-in or late check-out due to high demand and daily turnover. However, during the off-season, there are a couple of options available.
Off-Season
If there is no booking before or after your stay, you can request an early check-in or late checkout at no additional charge. We will do our best to accommodate your request; however, it cannot be guaranteed. Alternatively, if you’d like a guaranteed early check-in or late checkout during the off-season, you can pay a fee of $200. This will ensure that you can access the rental property as early as 1:00 PM MST on your arrival day or stay until as late as 1:00 PM MST on your departure day.

What is your cancellation policy?
At House, we understand that plans can evolve unexpectedly. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Reservations More Than 60 Days Away
For reservations made more than 60 days in advance, a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is fully refundable within 48 hours of booking, after which it becomes non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the start of your rental period. Should a cancellation occur more than 60 days prior to the scheduled booking date and beyond the 48-hour booking window, the 25% deposit will be forfeited.
Reservations Within 60 Days
For reservations made within 60 days of the start of your rental period, full payment is required at the time of booking. This payment is fully refundable for up to 48 hours after booking, after which it becomes non-refundable.
We are always willing to work with guests to find suitable solutions even within the 48-hour window should unforeseen circumstances arise. Can I bring my Service Animal or Pet?
Our policy regarding animals at our properties adheres to the Federal ADA Code: Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, 42 U.S.C. Sec. 12102, Right to be accompanied by a service animal. Kindly answer the following questions and provide the necessary documentation:
1. Is your service animal required because of a disability?
2. What work or tasks has the service animal been trained to perform?
By law, if you can answer yes to these questions, we will treat your service animal like any other guest; they will be counted in the house headcount and are welcome at the property. Please provide a copy of the laminated ADA-certified identification card for each service animal.
If the answer to any of the above questions is no, we appreciate your inquiry but must respectfully decline your pet from staying at our property. If your animal doesn’t qualify and we can’t host your pet, we recommend exploring boarding services through www.Rover.com.
Will I have access to a private beach?
Access to a private beach can significantly enhance your vacation experience. Some of our properties provide access to private beaches while others do not. To ascertain whether the rental property you’re interested in includes access to a private beach, please review the listing on our website.

Where can I rent watercraft, snowmobiles, or RZRs?
Although House does not offer power sport rentals, we have established partnerships with reputable local businesses in the vicinity. Should you wish to spend time on the water or explore the surrounding areas on a boat, snowmobile, or RZR, we recommend contacting one of our trusted partners referenced in our welcome email.

Can you cater our meals?

Can I park an RV in the driveway for extra people?
House maintains a policy of not allowing RVs, camp trailers, and tents at any of our short-term rental properties. Furthermore, our occupancy numbers are strictly adhered to, and we cannot overbook the occupancy of a home. While we understand the desire for additional space or guests, we kindly request that you comply with our policies and respect the local regulations. Do I need to bring all my groceries with me or is there a grocery store there?
Guests are welcome to bring groceries with them, and all our rental properties are equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, including appliances, cookware, and utensils. Bringing your own groceries can be a cost-effective way to ensure you have all the food and beverages you need during your stay.
However, if you prefer not to bring your own groceries or need additional supplies, there are several grocery stores in each of our destination locations with excellent selections. Review your welcome email for a detailed list of recommendations.
Do I need to bring my own beach chairs and towels?
House strives to provide guests with a premium experience during their stay. We provide luxury plush bath towels for in-home use only, as a part of our endeavor to ensure you feel pampered and comfortable.
However, we kindly request that guests do not take these towels to the beach as they can get stained or ruined by sand and lake water. If you plan on spending time at the beach, we recommend bringing your own beach towels. Additionally, please note that we do not provide beach chairs.
